March 16, 2024: Mamou, LA 70554 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Bell City Bruins (Bell City, LA) and the host Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA), saw Bell City's baseball squad knock off Mamou by a count of 6-2.
Coming up next, the Bruins play the Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 19. Bell City will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Gators enter the battle with a 11-8 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to New Iberia (New Iberia, LA).
The Demons now possess a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Church Point for a 3A District 4 battle on Monday, March 18. Mamou will play a Bears squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Crowley (Crowley, LA). The Bears record now stands at 8-8.
