March 16, 2024: Lombard, IL 60148 Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL), 13-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Schaumburg upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Saxons host Fenton (Bensenville, IL) to battle the Bison in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 19. The Bison come into the test with a record of 0-1. Fenton lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL)
With the defeat, Glenbard East falls to 1-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL) to battle the Hilltoppers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 19. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a record of 0-3. Glenbard West lost 25-14 in their recent non-league test against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL)
