California High School Volleyball - Salesian College Preparatory edged by Cardinal Newman
March 16, 2024: Santa Rosa, CA 95403 The Cardinal Newman Cardinals held off the visiting Salesian College Preparatory Pride volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cardinals now have a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aragon for a non-league test on Saturday, March 16. Cardinal Newman will confront a Dons team coming off a 3-1 league win over Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The Dons record now stands at 8-0.
The Pride (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Balboa (San Francisco, CA). The Buccaneers enter the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Balboa was nudged by Serra (San Mateo, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
