The Elk Grove Thundering Herd volleyball team (Elk Grove, CA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA)

The Thunder (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Vista del Lago was nudged by Folsom (Folsom, CA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Thundering Herd meet the Natomas Nighthawks (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 16. Elk Grove will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Nighthawks enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA).
