California High School Volleyball - Valley Christian can't hold off Garden Grove
March 16, 2024: Cerritos, CA 90703 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Garden Grove Argonauts volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Valley Christian Defenders.
The Argonauts (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Downey (Downey, CA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Downey nudged Bellflower (Bellflower, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Defenders clash with the Whittier Christian Heralds (La Habra, CA) in a Olympic battle, on Thursday, March 21. Valley Christian will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Heralds come into the battle with a 2-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA).
