March 16, 2024: Simi Valley, CA 93063 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders (Granada Hills, CA) and the host Simi Valley Pioneers (Simi Valley, CA), saw Granada Hills Charter's volleyball squad nip Simi Valley by a tally of 1-0.
With the win, Granada Hills Charter upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Highlanders host Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA) to play the Chancellors in a West Valley bout on Monday, March 18. The Chancellors go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Chatsworth won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Cleveland (Reseda, CA)
The Pioneers now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Royal for a Coastal Canyon bout on Tuesday, March 19. Simi Valley will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Oak Park (Oak Park, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-1.
