California High School Volleyball - Natomas tips Ponderosa

Natomas Nighthawks (Sacramento, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Nighthawks clash with the Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA) in a Greater Sacramento match, on Tuesday, March 19. Natomas will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Lancers come into the match with a 10-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Union Mine (El Dorado, CA).

With the loss, Ponderosa drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bruins host Placer (Auburn, CA) to clash with the Hillmen in a Foothill Valley match on Tuesday, March 19.
