In Saturday's non-league battle, the host River Valley Falcons volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Rocklin Thunder.

The Falcons (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Inderkum (Sacramento, CA). The Tigers come into the Capital Valley Conference battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Inderkum was edged by River City (West Sacramento, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
