March 16, 2024: Jonesboro, AR 72401 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Christian Brothers Purple Wave (Memphis, TN) and the host Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR), saw Christian Brothers's soccer squad triumph over Jonesboro by a margin of 6-0.
The Purple Wave now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Springdale for a non-league test on Thursday, March 21. Christian Brothers will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Russellville (Russellville, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Jonesboro drops to 2-6 on the season. The Hurricane host Catholic (Little Rock, AR) to meet the Rockets in a 6A Central test on Tuesday, March 26. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 2-1. Catholic 1-1 in their recent league test against Bryant (Bryant, AR)
