Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ), 19-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mountain Lions now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mesquite for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. Mountain Ridge will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Fairfax falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Stampede host North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Rattlers in a 5A Metro challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Rattlers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
