March 16, 2024: LaPlace, LA 70068 Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Destrehan for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18.
With the loss, St. Charles Catholic falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Comets host Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 10-6. Riverside Academy won 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Varnado (Angie, LA)
