March 16, 2025: Bradenton, FL The Westlake Chaparrals lacrosse team (Austin, TX), was overwhelmed 14-9 in Sunday's non-league battle with the host IMG Academy Black Ascenders (Bradenton, FL)
With the victory, IMG Academy Black advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Ascenders travel to Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA) to encounter the Big Green in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 22. The Big Green come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Chaparrals now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Mooney for a non-league battle on Monday, March 17. Westlake will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Jesuit (Tampa, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.
