March 16, 2026: Central, SC 29630 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) and the host Daniel Lions (Central, SC), saw Oxford's baseball team gain a win over Daniel by a tally of 11-0.
The Yellow Jackets (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Asheville was overwhelmed by Providence (Charlotte, NC), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lions face the Greer Yellow Jackets (Greer, SC) in a 4A Region 2 battle, on Tuesday, March 17. Daniel will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 24-1 league win over Berea (Greenville, SC).
