The Dexter Demons overwhelmed the host Eunice Cardinals softball squad by a count of 11-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Demons meet the Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 18. Dexter will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Belen (Belen, NM).

The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM). The SonBlazers go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Mesilla Valley Christian School held off Socorro (Socorro, NM), 19-3, in a non-league outing.
