North Carolina High School Softball - Village Christian Academy holds off St. David's
March 17, 2016: Raleigh, NC 27609 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Village Christian Academy Knights (Fayetteville, NC) and the host St. David's Warriors (Raleigh, NC), saw Village Christian Academy's softball squad nip St. David's by a count of 8-6.
The Knights now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rocky Mount Academy for a non-league match on Friday, March 18. Village Christian Academy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, St. David's falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC) to face the Crusaders in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 22. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 1-3.
