The Mountain Brook Spartans crushed the host West Point Green Wave baseball team by a tally of 15-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now hold a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Martin for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 17. Mountain Brook will clash with a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 8-5.

The Green Wave (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS). The Tornadoes go into the non-league game with a 0-10 record. In their last game, Philadelphia was overwhelmed by Quitman (Quitman, MS), 14-2, in a non-league game.
