Alabama High School Baseball - Oxford wallops New Hope
March 17, 2022: Oxford, AL 36203 Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Oxford upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Whitesburg Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, March 17. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 3-5. Whitesburg Christian Academy won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL)
With the defeat, New Hope drops to 7-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Madison County (Gurley, AL) to play the Tigers in a 4A Area 14 battle on Tuesday, March 22. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 8-3.
