Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), saw Sunnyside's baseball squad knock off Saguaro by a count of 7-5.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the Lee Williams Volunteers (Kingman, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 18. Sunnyside will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Volunteers enter the battle with a 6-7 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ).

The Sabercats now possess a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Mesquite for a 4A Desert Sky battle on Tuesday, March 22.
