Tennessee High School Soccer - Sequatchie County knocks off Polk County
March 17, 2022: Benton, TN 37307 Sequatchie County Indians (Dunlap, TN) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) in a 2A District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, March 22. Sequatchie County will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Chattanooga, TN).
The Wildcats now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sequoyah for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Polk County will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to William Blount (Maryville, TN). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-1.
