In Thursday's non-league contest, the Bluffton Bobcats (Bluffton, SC) softball team held off the host River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC), by a margin of 6-5.

With the triumph, Bluffton moves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Bobcats travel to White Knoll (Lexington, SC) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 19. The Timberwolves come into the contest with a record of 4-3. White Knoll lost 8-0 in their recent non-league contest against Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC)
