In Thursday's non-league contest, the Hawthorne Math & Science Academy The Aviators (Hawthorne, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Environmental Charter White Tigers (Lawndale, CA), by a margin of 17-8.

With the triumph, Hawthorne Math & Science Academy moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The The Aviators host Lennox Academy (Lennox, CA) to play the Panthers in a Coastal contest on Monday, March 21. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 4-4. Lennox Academy lost 14-3 in their recent league contest against Archer School for Girls (Los Angeles, CA)

In their next game, the White Tigers play the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves (El Segundo, CA) in a Mulholland contest, on Wednesday, March 23. Environmental Charter will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
