Washington High School Softball - Peninsula bounces Spanaway Lake
March 17, 2022: Gig Harbor, WA 98332 Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Spanaway Lake Sentinels (Spanaway, WA), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Seahawks now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Curtis for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 18. Peninsula will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Spanaway Lake falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA) to battle the Panthers in a 3A Pierce County challenge on Thursday, March 24. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
