Tennessee High School Basketball - Memphis East knocked off by Independence
March 17, 2023: Thompson's Station, TN 37179 The Independence Eagles basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Memphis East Mustangs to 58 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 28-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Overton for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 18. Independence will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 71-61 non-league win over Hillsboro (Nashville, TN). The Wolverines record now stands at 27-11.
