California High School Volleyball - Portola over La Mirada
March 17, 2023: Irvine, CA 92618 Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Elsinore Tigers (Wildomar, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 17. Portola will attempt to advance on its 9-10 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 13-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA).
With the loss, La Mirada drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Matadores travel to Diamond Ranch (Pomona, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, March 18. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 4-1. Diamond Ranch won 3-1 in their recent league match against Don Lugo (Chino, CA)
