Virginia High School Lacrosse - Bishop O'Connell drops to Gonzaga
March 17, 2023: Arlington, VA 22213 In Friday's league battle, the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) lacrosse squad routed the host Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), by a count of 27-4.
Coming up next, the Eagles clash with the Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) in a non-league battle, on Sunday, March 19. Gonzaga will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 16-7 non-league win over The Heights (Potomac, MD).
The Knights now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. John's for a Washington Catholic battle on Tuesday, March 21. Bishop O'Connell will clash with a Cadets squad coming off a 17-2 league win over St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Cadets record now stands at 2-2.
