March 17, 2023: College Park, GA 30349 The Banneker Trojans soccer team (College Park, GA), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Villa Rica Wildcats (Villa Rica, GA)
With the win, Villa Rica advances its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Tri-Cities (East Point, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Area 5 outing on Monday, March 20. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 5-3. Tri-Cities lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA)
In their next game, the Trojans play the Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA) in a 5A Area 5 outing, on Tuesday, March 21. Banneker will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 9-3 record after their 10-1 league win over Creekside (Fairburn, GA).
