March 17, 2023: Locust Grove, GA 30248 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA) and the visiting Hampton Hornets (Hampton, GA), saw Locust Grove's soccer squad knock off Hampton by a margin of 4-2.
The Wildcats now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Warner Robins for a 5A Area 2 test on Tuesday, March 21. Locust Grove will meet a Demons squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Demons record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Hampton drops to 1-9 on the season. The Hornets host Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 4A Area 5 test on Tuesday, March 21. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-6. Mt. Zion lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Woodland (Stockbridge, GA)
