Louisiana High School Baseball - Caldwell Parish nips Neville
March 17, 2025: Columbia, LA 71418 The Caldwell Parish Spartans baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Neville Tigers to 9 in the Spartans non-league win on Monday.
The Spartans now hold a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marksville for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. Caldwell Parish will play a Tigers team coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Oak Hill (Hineston, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-14.
With the defeat, Neville drops to 8-12 on the year. The Tigers travel to Ruston (Ruston, LA) to play the Bearcats in a 5A District 2 test on Thursday, March 20. The Bearcats go into the test with a record of 15-6. Ruston won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA)
