March 17, 2025: Dover, AR 72837 The Dover Pirates baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Ozark Hillbillies to 1 in the Pirates non-league win on Monday.
The Pirates now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perryville for a 3A Region 5 test on Tuesday, March 18. Dover will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Ozark drops to 3-3 on the year. The Hillbillies host Waldron (Waldron, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 4A Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 18. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 3-3. Waldron lost 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Charleston (Charleston, AR)
