The Valley Vista Monsoon baseball squad (Surprise, AZ), was edged 1-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Skyline Coyotes (Mesa, AZ)

With the triumph, Skyline moves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Yuma (Yuma, AZ) to confront the Criminals in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 22. The Criminals come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Yuma won 7-0 in their recent non-league contest against Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ)

The Monsoon now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinnacle for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 19. Valley Vista will confront a Pioneers squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-6.
