March 17, 2025: Richmond, VA 23233 The Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) lacrosse routed the visiting James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA), 19-4 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freeman for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 20. Godwin will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, James River Midlothian falls to 0-1 on the year. The Rapids host Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA) to face the Raiders in a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 19. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
