March 17, 2025: Forest City, NC 28018 The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) and the visiting East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC), saw East Rutherford's baseball team gain a win over East Burke by a tally of 11-1.
The Cavaliers (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Blue Devils enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Brevard prevailed over Pisgah (Canton, NC), 5-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cavaliers face the Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 18. East Burke will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 22-3 non-league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC).
