March 17, 2025: Albany, GA 31701 The Deerfield-Windsor Knights soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Monroe Golden Tornadoes to 0 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.
The Knights now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Valwood for a GIAA AAA/AAAA District 3 bout on Tuesday, March 18. Deerfield-Windsor will play a Valiants squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA). The Valiants record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Monroe moves to 0-5 on the year. The Golden tornadoes host Westover (Albany, GA) to play the Patriots in a 3A Area 1 bout on Tuesday, March 18. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Westover lost 9-2 in their recent league bout against Peach County (Fort Valley, GA)
