March 17, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28208 Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC), 18-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Berry improves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Cardinals host East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 19. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 4-5. East Mecklenburg lost 4-0 in their recent league game against Independence (Charlotte, NC)
The Cougars now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hopewell for a Queen City 3A/4A game on Thursday, March 20. Chambers will play a Titans squad coming off a 22-1 league win over West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Titans record now stands at 4-3.
