Arizona High School Softball - Westview bounces Copper Canyon
March 17, 2025: Avondale, AZ 85323 The Westview Knights softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Copper Canyon Aztecs to 6 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.
The Knights now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deer Valley for a 4A West Valley battle on Tuesday, March 25. Westview will confront a Skyhawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Skyhawks record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Copper Canyon moves to 0-8 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Central (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 19. The Bobcats come into the battle with a record of 0-3. Central lost 18-15 in their recent non-league battle against Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ)
