March 17, 2025: Deming, WA 98244 In Monday's non-league test, the Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Friday Harbor Wolverines (Friday Harbor, WA), by a count of 14-4.
Next, the Mountaineers meet the Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test, on Thursday, March 20. Mt. Baker will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Cedar Park Christian (Bothell, WA).
The Wolverines (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Storm go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Squalicum was routed by Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA), 21-7, in a non-league test.
