The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), observed Grassfield's softball team get by Currituck County by a tally of 10-7.

The Grizzlies (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Perquimans County (Hertford, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Perquimans County was routed by Rocky Mount Academy (Rocky Mount, NC), 6-5, in a non-league contest.
