The Paramount Pirates routed the visiting Mayfair Monsoons softball squad by a count of 6-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 18. Paramount will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro, CA).

The Monsoons (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Golden Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, El Dorado was routed by Brea Olinda (Brea, CA), 7-6, in a league challenge.
