The Chambers Cougars baseball team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 13-2 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC)

The Huskies now hold a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Mecklenburg for a Queen City 3A/4A game on Tuesday, March 22. Hough will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 23-10 league loss to West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 2-3.

The Cougars (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Robinson was overwhelmed by Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 12-5, in a league game.
