The Mingus Marauders baseball team (Cottonwood, AZ), was overwhelmed 10-2 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ)

The Cougars now hold a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amphitheater for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 23. Sahuaro will confront a Panthers team coming off a 24-9 non-league loss to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.

Next, the Marauders confront the Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon outing, on Tuesday, March 22. Mingus will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Kingman Academy (Kingman, AZ).
