March 18, 2022: La Puente, CA 91746 The Bishop Amat Lancers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Salesian Mustangs to 0 in the Lancers non-league victory on Friday.
The Lancers now have a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Montgomery for a Del Rey game on Tuesday, March 22. Bishop Amat will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-2 league win over Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA). The Knights record now stands at 7-3.
The Mustangs (0-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy dropped by Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
