In Friday's non-league contest, the Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Rosemont Wolverine (Sacramento, CA), by a margin of 11-0.

With the triumph, Franklin moves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA) to play the Blazers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 23. The Blazers come into the contest with a record of 0-5.

In their next game, the Wolverine play the Galt Warriors (Galt, CA) in a Sierra Valley Conference contest, on Monday, March 21. Rosemont will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 3-7 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA).
