North Carolina High School Softball - Lincoln Charter knocked off by South Caldwell
March 18, 2022: Hudson, NC 28638 In Friday's non-league contest, the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC), by a margin of 9-0.
With the triumph, South Caldwell moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Spartans travel to Watauga (Boone, NC) to play the Pioneers in a Northwestern 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, March 22. The Pioneers come into the contest with a record of 1-7. Watauga lost 11-0 in their recent non-league contest against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC)
In their next game, the Eagles play the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A contest, on Tuesday, March 22. Lincoln Charter will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Raptor come into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC).
