Petal Panthers (Petal, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN), 7-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Petal upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, MS) to battle the Rock-a-Chaws in a non-league test on Saturday, March 18. The Rock-a-Chaws come into the test with a record of 7-6. St. Stanislaus won 14-1 in their recent league test against Perry Central (New Augusta, MS)

With the defeat, Briarcrest Christian falls to 1-3 on the season. The Saints host Hardin County (Savannah, TN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, March 20. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-1.
