March 18, 2023: Pasco, WA 99301 The Chiawana Riverhawks baseball team (Pasco, WA), was overwhelmed 12-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA)
The Mavericks now hold a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastmont for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 outing on Tuesday, April 4. Moses Lake will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Woodinville (Woodinville, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Riverhawks confront the Southridge Suns (Kennewick, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia outing, on Tuesday, March 21. Chiawana will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Suns go into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA).
