Georgia High School Soccer - Greenbrier nudges Lowndes
March 18, 2023: Evans, GA 30809 Greenbrier Wolfpack (Evans, GA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolfpack face the Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA) in a 5A Area 1 challenge, on Tuesday, March 21. Greenbrier will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 5-3 league win over Ware County (Waycross, GA).
The Vikings now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colquitt County for a 7A Area 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. Lowndes will face a Packers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Cairo (Cairo, GA). The Packers record now stands at 6-1.
