South Carolina High School Softball - Union County bounces Travelers Rest
March 18, 2023: Travelers Rest, SC 29690 Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC), 9-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Yellowjackets now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 18.
With the loss, Travelers Rest falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Devildogs host Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC) to battle the Trojans in a AAA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Carolina Academy lost 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC)
