Trinity Shamrocks (Camp Hill, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Delone Catholic Squires (McSherrystown, PA), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Shamrocks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greencastle-Antrim for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22.

With the loss, Delone Catholic falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Squires host Susquehannock (Glen Rock, PA) to face the Warriors in a York-Adams 4 challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
