Tennessee High School Softball - Gleason bounces Fulton City
March 18, 2024: Gleason, TN 38229 Gleason Bulldogs (Gleason, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Fulton City Bulldogs (Fulton, KY), 15-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dresden for a 1A District 13 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Gleason will face a Lions squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Bradford (Bradford, TN). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Fulton City falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mayfield (Mayfield, KY) to face the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Mayfield lost 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against McCracken County (Paducah, KY)
