March 18, 2025: Princeville, IL 61559 The Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) baseball trounced the host Princeville Princes (Princeville, IL), 18-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hall for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. Eureka will clash with a Red Devils team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Streator (Streator, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Princeville drops to 0-2 on the year. The Princes travel to North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. North Boone won 14-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL)
